    · Weather in Cairo during December and What is convenient to wear?

    The weather in December is mild winter an average (15 c. - 22 c.) Can get chilly at night.     So maybe light winter woolies for the morning and in the evening a sweater and an     overcoat maybe needed.

    It is possible to obtain the Egyptian visa either at the Egyptian Embassy at your city or     upon arrival at Cairo airport for 15.-$
    (Syria , Jordan , Lybia and Sudan passport holders do not need a visa to enter Egypt , any     other nationality needs to purchase a visa ).

    All tours requested in and out of Cairo can be organized by individual arrangement with     Cairo based travel agents which are many most of which are based in downtown area.     Egypt is safe to travel in all sites.

    The electric current in Egypt is 220 V AC, 50 HZ, bring adapter plugs and travel size     transformers , as they are difficult to obtain Egypt.

    International calling cards (Att ,MCI ,etc……) can be used from public telephone booths all     over Cairo .Also local telephone cards (to be used internationally ) are on sale at most     shops and used from public telephone booths.
